What's it take to become an insurance agent in New York? Determination and a lifetime of learning!
The insurance industry is an ever-changing world, and it's necessary that we keep up with it.
Did you know: New York property and casualty insurance agents must complete 90 hours of instruction and pass a licensing exam in order to be licensed by NYS to solicit insurance.
Our training doesn’t just end when we get our license. Each agent must complete 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years to maintain their license.
In addition to this mandatory training, our agents attend company hosted seminars to get familiar with product lines and coverages.
As an insurance agent, it’s necessary that we continue learning and keep up with industry changes. By doing so we can better serve your needs.
